Dr. Julie Verhaegen is a gynecologic oncologist and breast cancer specialist at the Antwerp University Hospital (UZA). She obtained her medical degree from the University of Antwerp in 2017 and subsequently completed a five-year residency in gynecology and obstetrics. Dr. Verhaegen further refined her expertise in gynecologic oncology and breast surgery during a two-year fellowship at the Antwerp University Hospital (UZA). She is a member of several societies: ESMO, ESGO, ESSO and VVOG. Her professional interests include oncoplastic surgical techniques and the psychosocial dimensions of oncologic care. Within her clinical practice, she is committed to an integrated approach that combines medical expertise with comprehensive, patient-centered care.
